B.Mus. (Humber)

Eric has earned several scholarships and was recognized for his musicianship at regional, national, and international music festivals (such as The Ottawa International Jazz Festival). He has received instruction from some of the most knowledgeable faculty in the world at both Berklee College of Music (Boston) where he attended the five-week summer performance program and Humber College (Toronto) where he earned a Bachelors Degree in music.

His most recent projects include composing scores for two independent short films (Anna In Parallels and Stained) and recording his debut studio EP, Monsters Don’t Dance. Eric also works with the Headquarters Collective, a local grassroots organization that works to support other musicians in the local community.

Hobbies: Slack lining, cycling, reading.

Musical influences: Lately I’ve been obsessed with Joni Mitchell and Neil Young.

Favourite food: Tamarind

Least favourite food: Food without nutritional value.

Favourite music: Creative music.

Favourite song: Everything on the album Court and Spark.

Favourite movie: Fantastic Mr. Fox

Favouirite movie music: Music from the film Melancholia.

Favourite musical theatre/opera: I’m not sure… I saw Anne of Green Gables in Charlottetown, that was fun.
