Our Babies Music Program Starts at Birth

We invested a lot of time searching for the perfect babies music program – one that offers the highest educational standards while being a really enjoyable experience for parents and caregivers. After a lot of research, we found that special blend in Music Together® Babies Classes. It’s a program that focuses on learning and making music as a family, and community, together.

Music Together Babies Classes incorporate a great depth of ongoing research, music, training, and selections of music from different cultures, time periods, rhythmic and tonal families. The result? An incredibly fun and educational 45-minute weekly session guided by an early childhood music specialist where you and your baby begin your musical journey together along with other families. It’s a great way to bond with your baby, learn music and movement, and make new friends. In addition, your song books and CDs are included with your tuition so you can enjoy practising and listening to the music at home.

Babies are Natural Music-makers

Babies love music. This will come as no surprise if you’ve ever soothed your newborn to sleep with a lullaby or bounced your baby to the beat of your favourite song. But did you know your child is also a natural music–maker? It’s true! We are each born equipped to respond to music from a remarkably early age. There is a lot you can do to nurture your new little musician – even if you don’t think of yourself as a “musical” person. Making music together from the very beginning of your child’s life leads to a lifetime of shared musical enjoyment for you both.

The Music Together® Babies Class will start you on the path to becoming a musical family. Specifically designed for infants eight months and younger, this introduction to Music Together allows babies to embrace, enjoy, and express their inborn musicality. In your weekly class, you will spend 45 music-filled minutes singing, dancing, and playing with your child. You’ll learn how your child is developing musically and better yet, how you can support this growth at home. Plus, you’ll leave with lots of ideas on how to play and bond musically together and infuse music into your baby’s everyday life.

Stimulate Your Baby’s Development

Your baby is growing non-stop! By taking part with your child in our babies music classes with ABC Academy, you can help stimulate this growth using a proven program. You’ll learn how to develop key musical, physical, expressive skills, as well as key coordination, behaviours, and social structures that will set your child ahead from others as they approach entry into a formal education.
