What we did this week:

We ran through Long Long Ago Theme and Variation as an ensemble. We focus on how we present our pieces performance style. We were a little delayed due to lack of books in the class.

What did we listen to or watch, that you can watch at home?

We watched a performance of Long Long Ago to have an idea of how to perform and present our piece.

What work is to be done this weekend:

Please practice through Theme and Variation from Long Long Ago. Please perfect your bowing markings.

What are we doing next week?

Next week we will be introducing a new piece the Gavotte by Jean Baptist Lully.  Be sure to watch the video on the website.  This is quite a long piece so much of our time will be devoted to learning that piece. Please be sure your child has a book.

How much time should your student be practicing each day?

Please keep practicing a 30 minute interval over the weekend.

How can you help your child?

You and your child can hold a living room concert presentation for their Long Long Ago Theme and Variation. Family participation to encourage your child will make a very positive impact on their violin learning experience. Please ensure your child has a Suzuki Book Volume 2.

Please print off the  Homework Helper from the ABC website. Homework helpers are due each Tuesday.
