Listen to several versions (I played you Emilie-Claire Barlow), and next week we will work on learning the ‘head’ (the melody as written), as well as doing some melodic and rhythmic paraphrasing. Listen to other singers improvise and lift their solos by ear! A great way to learn jazz vocabulary!
