How to practice it most effectively: Use a metronome and try at different speeds. Try both G major and G pentatonic in a few different positions.

Paul

Recommended minutes to practice: 10 min/day

What to practice: Grouping Bmi + A major Triads over B in the bass. Learning songs by ear.

How to practice it most effectively: Find a few different ways to play the triads on the 3 highest strings (there are 3 different shapes before they repeat). For learning songs by ear, try going for the high notes first, then the bass, and finally the middle notes.

Yasmim

Recommended minutes to practice: 5 min/day

What to practice: Open, 2nd Fret and Fourth Fret on the E string.

How to practice it most effectively: Try playing groups of 1, 2, 3, and 4 notes at a time with the three notes we’ve played so far.

How to practice it most effectively: Take it section by section and check that your right hand and left hand are on the same string. Then try putting sections together.
