How Parents Can Support: IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT SAM BRING HIS NOTES TO CLASS EVERY WEEK. Please get Sam a three ring binder and make sure he has it with for each session. In helping Sam play the African bass line have him pay strong attention to the rhythmic notation.

What To Practice: practice Charlie Christian’s “Flying Home” solo and sing the notes as you play them. Tune your voice to the notes. Then work on your own solo doing same.

What To Practice: first few licks from “Highway To Hell” solo, various guitar licks, string bending.

How Parents Can Support: make sure Kiran keeps his thumb in the proper place behind the neck of the guitar.
