Great job on your Summer Song especially with the intonation. Please continue to work on A and G major scale two octaves for the intonation and the A and G major arpeggios. Great work with the Grade 2 studies.

We missed you this week! Hope you feel better. Please work on your finger numbers and Old McDonald Had a Farm.

Great work on Twinkle Twinkle! Work on your bowing and rhythm for Variation A in Suzuki Book One. Please also work through the D major scale one octave long tones for intonation and bow grip. Great work!

Great work this week! Please work on your posture especially bow grip. Try to work through your open string rhythms. Excellent work!

Hope you feel better this week! Let’s keep working on the two Bach Minuets and finish off the Christopher Norton viola jazz book.

Great job everyone!

Hello Cornerstone Families,

Please note that all Violin rentals are due back at Reményi by June 30th.

As per Reményi’s note:

…there is no insurance and every instrument and bow will be inspected by the staff upon return. If there is any damage, then we will have to charge to cover the cost of repair.

We are investigating ways with Cornerstone to simplify and possibly centralize the rental procedure for the coming school year, and while we can make no promises about it, we hope to make this considerably easier.

Thank you!

B. Kerekes
Director
