Good work Julian with your recital song this week! Keep playing it to be extra prepared for the concert. You may also continue playing lil Liza Jane and and the Clock shop! Once you feel comfortable go ahead to the new song in the book!

How parents can help:

Encourage your child to have a daily practice routine and ensure that they are filling out their homework logs correctly. In addition to the online homework posts, I recommend that each student keep and maintain a homework journal where they can fill in how long they practice and what they worked on that week. You can decorate it to make it fun!

This week Zoe we have added A, E and D minor to our practice routine. You can focus on the melodic and harmonic scales of each in both hands. We have also changed our recital piece to Atacama Desert, you may now continue to work on this one in preparation for the concert. In addition to the recital piece you can continue your work with the regular weekly songs.
