Recommended length of practice 15-20 minutes per day
Songs: This week you will continue to work on Copy Cat. Rememeber from now on, always use sticky fingers while playing. Remember to count out loud while you play. Continue to work on Grandmother, and lemonade stand. We learned 2 new musical concepts. You can review these in your theory book as well as your lesson book.
How parents can help: Encourage your child to practice daily and always review their homework log to ensure they are filling it out correctly.

Recommended practice time 20 minutes per day
Songs: This week continue to work on Boxcar rumble. This week try to not stop inbetween measures. Count out loud so that you keep keep a steady beat. Also continue to work on Like i’m gonna lose you. Try out the 1st page with just the right hand. Sing while you play!

Recommended practice time 20 minutes per day
Songs: Sleeping beauty is your recital song so please continue to work on this one. We learned about V7 chords today. It’s similar to our dominant triad but there is a 4th note added. You can practice with them in your new song. You also have some theory work on the V7 chord. Have that completed for next week.

Reccommended practice time 25-30 per day.
Songs: Minuetto is your recital song, so be sure this one is memorized! You also have Aeolian lullaby, for this week increase the bpm on your metronome to 120. We will eventually reach 144. You also have several other songs, but nothing new this week. Keep up the good work.
