What to practice: C major scale up and down
How to practice it most effectively: Take one note at a time, go both up and down the scale. Bonus – try saying the letter names along with the notes.
How parents can support practice: Encourage Lucien to continue picking up the guitar for a few minutes a day.

Recommended minutes to practice: 10 min/day
What to practice: Dance Dance – with Palm Muting and the Metronome
How to practice it most effectively: Try the palm muting without the metronome at first. Then play along with the metronome, two clicks per note, start at 100bpm. See if you can slower and faster as well, try aiming for one note every 4 clicks and one note every click.
How parents can support practice: Encourage Griffin to continue picking up the guitar and taking a look at his lesson materials.
