Katheline – Start working on your books when you get them. Until then, technical exercises: all major and natural minor scales. All triad sequences (chords/triads and inversions) that use all white notes, EXCEPT for the one starting on B. Ear exercise: Play a perfect 5th (C-G) and then play the major and minor 3rds (E and Eb) to compare the sound of the ‘major’ to the sound of the ‘minor.
Daniel – Find the notes F, C, and G. Play and practice the composition you worked on in our lesson this week. See if you can come up with more.
Gavin – Work on the March, particularly the section starting at bar 9. Play hands separately as well as together. Use a metronome. Play with a metronome, both with and without Liam.
