How to practice it most effectively: Count along as you play. Remember that the notes get played on the number that they are written above.

How parents can support practice: Encourage Lucien to continue picking up the guitar each day.

Griffin

What to practice: Riffs from “Dance Dance” with the metronome.

How to practice it most effectively: Step 1 – Say the counting Step 2 – tap the rhythm on your lap Step 3 – play the notes on guitar in the rhythm Step 4 – play the notes on guitar along with a metronome.

How parents can support practice: Encourage Griffin to continue picking up the guitar and taking a look at lesson materials.

What to practice: pg. 6 out of Hal Leonard Book ex. 1-3 & Iron Man

How to practice it most effectively: Say the counting as you play the notes for the Hal Leonard exercises. For Iron Man, go through the notes written out in tab and aim to play through without breaks between the sections.
