AMAZING job improvising/jamming today. Take note that what we did ‘playing around’ today, is what professional improvisers do! It takes imagination and knowing HOW to tell an effective story, and when jamming with another person, to LISTEN to what they are doing, and playing off of it — things you did rather automatically today. Please MOVE to the rhythm as you practice Batman this week, making sure the tempo is steady, no hesitations, as you change finger positions throughout the piece. And, please practice it before the recital this Sunday!!
