– Recommended practice time: 15-20 min/day, 5 days/week
– Practice: D, G, and C Major scales with long bow strokes, Lightly Row, French Folk Song, Song of the Wind, and Go Tell Aunt Rhody. For Lightly Row and French Folk Song, make sure to play with a steady beat and to not rush the quarter notes. Now that you have the notes down for Song of the Wind and Go Tell Aunt Rhody, include the rhythms and make sure your eighth notes are not the same length as the quarter notes. Also, make sure your rests in Song of the Wind are one whole beat. Good luck with your music composition homework!
