What to practice: creating little melodies on only the white keys, then only the black keys. try to play different tempos (slower vs. faster) and travel all across the keyboard, L-R or R-L

How parents can support practice: encourage time for exploration – maybe try playing recordings of songs and he can play along with them

How to practice it most effectively: in little bits at a time (1 bar, then 2 bars etc.). it can also be helpful to sing or hum the notes while playing them.
