Oscar
Practice the triplet exercises that we worked on this week. Try to push the speed as much as you can while still maintaining a steady pulse. Make sure that the triplets always sound even: each note should be the same length as the other notes. Next week we will build on these rhythm ideas.
Nate
Keep working on the triplet rhythms. Play them together with the new triplet beat and try to come up with some cool fill ideas. Make sure that the triplets always sound even: each note should be the same length as the other notes. Also, check out some more Buddy Rich videos on Youtube!

Practice the accent patterns that we worked on this week. Remember to keep your sticks low for the non-accented notes so that they sound very soft, and raise the stick high above the drum for the accents so that they sound loud. Try to play each exercises at least 4 times in a row without stopping. Take it slow!
