What we did this week:

We ran through the complete first half of Air Violin I and II with piano. We also learned the C major arpeggio two octaves in third position as well as reviewed the C major scale.

What did we listen to or watch, that you can watch at home?

We listened to a live version of the scale and arpeggio as played by our teacher.

What work is to be done this weekend:

Please work on the first complete half of Air. Pay special attention to the intonation and note changes in the B section. Also work on the intonation in the C major scale and arpeggio.

What are we doing next week?

Next week we will beginning the A section of the second half of Air and beginning the C minor melodic scale and C minor arpeggio.

How much time should your student be practicing each day?

Try for 45 minutes of practice time possibly broken up into two 20-15 minute intervals.

How can you help your child?

If you can help your child with the intonation work by either singing with your child or playing along with them on the piano or another instrument if you are able to do so.
