How to practice it most effectively: Co-ordinating right hand, left hand, along with reading the music are the 3 elements to juggle right now. Break the song down into 1 bar and 2 bar sections. Treat it like a game, can you play every bar in the song on it’s own? Can you play each 2 bar section? How about 4 bars?

How to practice it most effectively: Break down into 1 bar chunks, then start putting the song together, 2 bars at a time, line by line and then the whole song.

What to practice: Try the strumming pattern we looked at in class, you could also try coming up with some different patterns, or sounding out patterns from song you’re learning.

How to practice it most effectively: Try the strumming patterns in the songs you’re working on as soon as you can, and mixing them in with singing as well.
