How to practice it most effectively: Set the metronome to 65 to start with. The tendency will likely be to rush so aim to correct yourself by purposely trying to play a bit behind.
How parents can support practice: Encourage Lucien to keep going with the metronome and to take smaller sections (1 bar, 2 bars) and loop them. He should be good to practice on his own but may need a reminder to use the strategies listed above.
Augustine

How to practice it most effectively: Count out loud as you practice and try looping small sections (repeating over and over) and piecing the song together.
How parents can support practice: Encourage Van to continue picking up the guitar and taking a look at his lesson materials.
