Homework of the week – November 8

Luke

Luke should practice the “Black Magic Woman” bass line on the bass guitar. Focus on the recurrent pattern – root, 5, b7, 8 – that is repeated throughout the chord progression.

Frida

Frida should practice playing E, F & G at the first string of her acoustic guitar. She should pay attention at the proper fingering as instructed on the book. The Hal Leonard Guitar Method should be purchased for next lesson.

Veronika

Veronika should practice the verse to Dylan’s “Blowing in the wind”. Focus on the strumming pattern and on the harmonic rhythm: how the chords are structured through the measures.
