•  Keep working on that breathing! Do the bending down exercise, making sure you fill up.
  • Try to relax your body when you inhale
  • Practice the G, F and E slurring exercise. Figure out how to blow slower so you can get out lower notes.


  •  Keep working with a metronome, make sure to clap rhythms so you can be confident of what they are.
  • Approach things slowly, without stopping. It’s better to play straight through something slowly than to play it fast and stop repeatedly.
