Hi everyone, great work today! Here is what I would like for you to practice this week.

Sebastian- Thanks for getting you packet printed out! This week, have a look at Lesson 3 and review reading through those rhythms. Also, please look at Lesson 4 beats 1-12. Try to find where notes do and don’t line up to help you play each one.

Ella- Get Rylan up to full tempo this week (146 BPM). For the disco sheet, try to get the top 4 lines to 60 bpm to the quarter note, and the bottom two lines to 90 bpm to the eighth note. Listen to Breezeblocks a bunch so you can get really familiar with the structure of the song and pick out a bit of how the beat goes.

Jonah- Hi Jonah! Here is a link the packet for you to print out. (https://drive.google.com/file/d/12q21Pa0ouqLu4ufYaFwdcrPqMH-Sdn3A/view?usp=sharing). And here is the link to the song maker we used in the lesson (https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/Song-Maker/). Please use this tool to make some cool songs! You can even save them and show them to your friends and family.

Noah- This week, try to gedt the entire disco page to 100 on the metronome. In addition, here is a link to the song maker we saw in the lesson (https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/Song-Maker/). You can make some really cool music with it and save it to listen later!

Sylvie- This week, try to get the entire disco page to 80 bpm. If some of them are too tricky to get full speed now (especially the bottom two lines) then leave those a bit slower.

Koel- This week, try to focus on playing with good time. Make sure to always be subdividing and listening to the metronome. To help with this, practice the top 4 lines of the disco page at different tempos (only fast enough that it is comfortable).

Samson- This week, try to get Lesson 7 beats 1-12 to 94 bpm. Make sure you listen to the metronome and line up every note with a consistent hi hat. Sounded great yesterday!

Thanks for reading, I’ll see you all next week!
