K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Surely)
We’ve recently been upgrading our systems over the summer to make things work better for the school, parents, and students. Part of this new effort is to simplify our fee structure by eliminating our Registration Fee as a separate item.
The registration fee will now be included as part of your monthly fees, disappearing from view, and making registration and re-registration easier.
What did the Fee do?
The ‘old’ registration fee was used to cover our extra-curricular activities at the school, specifically costs associated with recitals. These costs include, but are not limited to things like the space rental, special equipment rental, transportation of equipment, video editing/production. The fee was unchanged over the last 5 years. Our costs for these extra event have evolved considerably over this time.
New Structure
The new integrated fee structure is going to contain a registration of $50 per year, which will be applied on a monthly basis, rather than a lump sum to deal with each year. After this notice, we hope to never mention it again, and any further changes to fees will simply be communicated as changes. Click to see the new fee structure.
Music Together and Rock Band
These changes do not currently affect Rock Band or Music Together programs.
Beat the Fee Change before August 9th
If you would like to avoid this new fee structure for the coming year, you can! Just register by Friday, August 9th, and we’ll charge you the current monthly rate only, no registration fee of any kind. If you have any questions, please call us today!
