Look at pages 28-30, 32, 33, and 36-37 in your book, mostly to review and get both hands accustomed to playing together on the piano. We will start to learn more theory and play interesting songs as the term goes on!

It was great to sing and play the piano with you today! Practice some vocal warm-ups that we did today: breathing (inhale and exhale ‘tss’), singing ‘meow’ and lip trills (‘brr’). Next week we will start working on learning some pop songs and practicing technique on the piano. Wonderful effort and enthusiasm :)

Great work on persevering through the challenging transitions in “Willie and Tillie” today. Continue practicing those transitions (both hands) at home while staying within the beat. I am so excited for you to polish this piece!
