What to practice: This week Lucas I want you to write in the counts for the reading in Lesson 3!
How to practice effectively: You don’t have to write over the rests, just make sure that you know which beat they fall on. When you’re done writing all the counts in, try clapping and counting each line. If that goes well see if you can play through them smoothly without counting! Great job getting a handle on the Lesson 2 beat!

How to practice effectively: Really great work using the check pattern to get the verse beat more comfortable, I can tell that its really paying off! For the chorus keep that relaxed feel and get used to the fill measures and the groove will continue to improve!
