Songs: We will continue to work on Allegro, ELephant ride, and Yankee Doodle. Remember to go through steps to learning a song for each new song. Fill in the counting for the songs from last week.

Theory: Complete Pg 33,34. You can refer to pg 49 in your piano book for help.

Songs: Test next week memorized Almost like a dream. Remember to focus on dynamics. New song will be Spanish caballero, for this one fill in the counting, clap and count and read through all the letter names. Work on the 1st page and if you are comfortable work on the 2nd page as well.

Technique: C Major arpeggio, for this one be accurate and smooth.

Songs: Continue working on party song, boogie on broadway. For these two be sure to count out loud Roses are red, Two little marches

Scales: Repeat scales from last week, B Major and Eb Major. Use your sheet to help you remember how many flats or sharps are in the scale.

Songs: We are still moving forward in the book there a quite a few new songs, as per usual continue if she is comfortable with the songs I have given. You can also encourage her to look for songs elsewhere such as pop, Tv or Movies and maybe we can find some pieces that she would be interested in playing.

Recommended minutes to practice: 20-30 Minutes per day

Piano Songs: New songs= I will always love you, Alpine Polka, and Yellow bird. Remember to fill in the counting for all of your new songs. Clap through each songs and count out loud. For court dance rock version use metronome set to 145 bpm. Down in the valley you will work on making this softer and have more of a gentle sound.
