This week we continued working with “Ahead By a Century”. We talked about creating interest with the bass and looked at using 5ths in the basslines. For examples using A as a passing note when the chord is D and so on. Practice using this technique over the recording of the song.
Jack
Continue working on “Ode to Joy”. Remember to start with the first bar and continue adding one bar at a time. This way, your phrase becomes longer. Remember to be patient and take your time with this part.
Mona
This week we looked at switching chords. We looked at your chords on Page 49 in your guitar book. Practice switching between two chords and slowly work on building your speed. Try practicing uysing a few different chords.
