Toronto pianist David Potvin is active as a piano teacher, collaborative pianist and performer. David holds a masters degree in piano performance from the University of Toronto, where he studied with Marietta Orlov. A Nova Scotia native, David completed his Bachelor of Music in performance at Acadia University in that province, under the tutelage of Ronald Tomarelli. He will be starting doctoral studies at U of T this fall.

David has taught private piano lessons for over 6 years, where he has prepared students for recitals, festivals, and Royal Conservatory of Music exams. He believes that even though every student brings different personal goals to their piano lessons, all musicians share in the quest to better express themselves through music.

In his free time, David enjoys exploring Toronto, studying philosophy and watching soccer.
