Great playing in your lesson. I’ve noticed a huge improvement in your playing especially in your jazz pieces which you are playing in stage band. Make sure we continue to bring out the accents especially in Superstition.
This week try to make a huge difference between slurs, and detached notes. Then try to make the same difference between the detached notes and staccato notes.
For next lesson try and have a C major scale 2 octaves both slurred and detached as well as a 1 octave minor scale of your choice. Also pick a piece of music or theme in a movie or television show that you’d like to learn and let me know next week.
