Your sound is coming along! We just need to aim for consistency in your playing and make sure that you are using the right amount of air each time. From now on try standing while you practice to avoid slouching and keep your bell up.

This week work on the first half of the low f exercise–this will help with breath control and be a good warm up before you work on your piece. Remember to always play with full lungs and aim for the best sound possible. Record yourself so you can listen back as to what you sound like (it might feel weird listening to yourself but it helps!!)

Georgia on my mind–work on the second half (from the double bar) to the end. This section is more rhythmic so be sure you are 100% accurate before you move on. If you’re having any problems mark them so that we can go over them in the next lesson.
