This week I would like everyone to practice exaggerating accents. The trick is preparing for the accent by lifting in advance.

Just try solidifying the beat I showed you for shape of you. Don’t be too aggressive with the accents, just bring everything else down.
Lucas
Keep up with the lessons from your book. Go to the next lesson for the rock beat and keep going in lesson one for the reading exercises. Try to play your single stroke exercise with accents on the downbeat and play everything else softer.
