Lisa Ribout

Lisa is a diverse musician, with a passion for performance. She is the lead singer, keyboardist and principle songwriter for the Toronto based band 10,000 Hours. They released an EP last fall and have toured locally with success since. They are currently writing their first full length album.

When she’s not writing for or performing with her band, she is building her composition reel for film and television. She recently scored a pilot as well as a contemporary dance piece, and is looking forward to more film work in the near future.

Lisa began her teaching career 2 years ago with the KUPE Outside the Box program, as well as teaching privately in her home. Since then she has dedicated herself to igniting a passion for music in all of her students, young and old. She aspires to inspire, and is looking forward to this first year at ABC.
