Music Together® is designed for children from birth through age 5, with a caregiver attending each class. There’s no performance expectation. Your child learns through singing, movement, and listening while you do the same—together. The curriculum comes from research in music development and child learning.
What Happens in Music Together
Each class is 45 minutes with a trained Music Together teacher and a small group. Your child sings simple songs, moves to different rhythms, and listens to classical and folk music from around the world. You sing and move too. The teacher follows your child’s lead and pace, not a rigid script. Some children sing right away; others listen quietly for weeks before joining in. Both are fine.
At home, you receive a songbook and digital recordings so class ideas continue beyond the studio. There’s no pressure to “perform” anywhere.
When Classes Meet
Music Together seasons run 10 weeks in the fall, winter, and spring. You can register for one season or more. A free demo class lets you see the room, meet the teacher, and understand what your child will experience. Many families try a demo before deciding. You choose whether to continue after the first class.
