Music Together® Classes for Toddlers in Forest Hill, Toronto
Music Together is for babies, toddlers, and young children from birth to age 5, always with a parent or caregiver in the room. We hold classes in 10-week seasons, and you can attend a free demo class before deciding whether to join.
Our classes are led by Trained Music Together teachers. The focus is on musical play, not performance or sitting still. Parents learn songs, movement games, and instrument exploration they can use at home. The goal is to give every child a foundation in music through everyday music-making.
Our Lawrence Park Studio in Your Neighborhood
Forest Hill is well positioned for our Lawrence Park studio, which is about 12 minutes away. The area sits near Spadina and St. Clair, with easy parking and quick access from Upper Canada College and the Cedarvale Ravine. We hold several Music Together sessions each week, so you can fit classes into your schedule.
Music Together does not use formal instruments yet. Children explore rhythm with wooden shakers, bells, and drums. Parents sing, play simple games, and watch their children respond to beat and melody at their own pace.
What to Expect in Music Together
Each 45-minute class follows a pattern you will recognize week to week. We sing, move, play instruments, and end with a calming listen. Babies and younger toddlers often watch; older toddlers jump in and dance. There is no pressure to perform. Some children are shy the first few weeks, and that is normal.
You will learn the same songs and games each class, which helps children absorb rhythm and melody. You can bring the experience home by singing the same songs during bath time, car rides, or bedtime routines. This repeated exposure builds musical understanding.
After Music Together: Private Lessons at Age 5
Many families who start in Music Together want to continue with private lessons once their child is older. We offer private piano, voice, guitar, and other instruments at our Lawrence Park studio starting around age 5. Our private-lesson teachers hold university music degrees or the equivalent.
Private lessons are one-on-one, customized to each child’s pace and interests. We also hold private lessons at our Conway studio. Current rates are on our tuition page.

Music Together runs in 10-week seasons. We offer fall, winter, spring, and summer schedules, so you can start at the beginning of any season. We always welcome a free demo class so you and your child can see what a Music Together class feels like before you sign up.

- What happens if we miss a class?
- You can make up a missed class in the same season. We also record audio of each week’s songs so you can practice at home if you need to skip a week.
