Jennifer Kowbell holds a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. She has performed with the University of Toronto Wind Ensemble, the University of Toronto Wind Symphony, the Etobicoke Philharmonic Orchestra and has participated in the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute. Jennifer is the winner of the Jean Chalmers scholarship for 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 and the William Croombs scholarship for 2012-2013. In 2012 Jennifer participated in the Canadian Flute Association Competition, receiving first place in the Grade 10 class and was awarded the Canadian Flute Association Competition Scholarship.

Jennifer is a versatile and experienced teacher, teaching at Toronto high schools, non-profit organizations, and music camps including National Music Camp and Music By The Lake.
