Excellent progress this week and lessons today, all three of you!!

Ahaan

Onto the next level/book, just like that!!  Remember to lean your body in (with core muscles engaged) into the hand and fingers playing the melodic line.  The accompaniment ALWAYS should take a noticeably secondary role.

Mazin

Core engaged produces the dance/movement in your body, and coordinates all of the fine fingerwork your pieces require.  And engaged core frees up the playing apparatus to do what you want it to!!  Experiment with this as you do the various types of articulation your pieces require this week.

Gerardo

Engage your core as you articulate keys, Gerardo!  Doing this frees up your playing apparatus to coordinate all the fine sounds you want to produce.  Melodic notes should always be played with an active finger and hand; notes in the accompaniment should always support the melody (so should be quieter).
