Progress is only made by challenging ourselves!

Excellent work in the lesson with your father in the room today!  Please work at home by yourself and with your dad in this way from now on!  Remember to keep your eyes on the page, while playing at a STEADY TEMPO (no matter how slow you go), while naming the notes out loud at first, until you become more familiar with reading.

Revelations and great insights for me about you and your playing today.  Thank you for helping me understand where you’re coming from.  I know better your challenges and have an idea on how we might work to overcome them.  Remember, your core muscles should ALWAYS be engaged when playing, to one extent or another, and to ‘electrify’ your hands and fingers — especially ‘sensitizing’ your fingertips as you play.
