Re-Listen to the studio version of This Town. Listen for the highest note of the guitar voicings. Practice plucking the correct roots with the chords. If it gets confusing, try eliminating the rest of the chord and just playing the bass notes. Keep working on the alternate picking for crazy train. Remember to give your left hand permission to do nothing while your right hand plays the 2 open notes in the middle of the pattern. Also, if you get messed up, try playing just the right hand picking pattern a couple times before adding the left hand back in. Spend some time every day making your power chords ring nicely.
