Homework assignments for Nov. 18 2015–saxophone
David–you’ve made big improvements in embouchure, but continue to check up on details until they become habitual. Keep doing the low note exercise. Also, two-octave C major scale in 3rds. Learn second half of the etude from last week and Lacour #8.
Aidan–sometimes it’s good to speed ahead with new pieces, sometimes it’s good to take an extra week to really polish up on small details. Continue to polish up the two pieces from last week; play both slowly and fast. Don’t forget your dictation book next week.
