Girl! I was so impressed with your hard work on the songs you prepared. It is obvious you love to perform. How awesome is that? Ok, so homework, here’s what I’d like you to do, pick out another NEW song from your songbook and we’ll work on it together next time. Remember to do some warm ups with your voice, for at least 10-15 minutes. You can sing the scales starting at middle C going to the top and back. Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti, Do and then backwards Do, Ti, La, So, Fa, Mi, Re, Do. Also, sing the notes and name them as you go up the scale. C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C and then backwards! C, B, A, G, F, E, D, C. Think up two more soft pretty characters to sing the Raindrops on Roses Song.
Keep up the good work!
See you soon!

You inspire me so much! You’ve made leaps and bounds in both your vocal strength and musical awareness. You have great range of emotion and you are working hard to develop it. Always do a good warm up starting in your speaking range and going down, then up as far as you feel comfortable. Keep working on Over the Rainbow in the original key of C and in Bb. Explore the strengths of each version. Remember to go to the nasel/nose sound to focus your sound.
